Hello (hopefully again)!
For my second project this week I decided to have some fun with the...
This was the design I had to CASE. We were able to use any part of the card as our inspiration.
I used the thin layer and the glimmer paper as my inspiration.
I decided to make a 3 x 3 card to go with the card in my previous post. I love creating this card size,it is perfect for accompanying gifts! And Stampin'Up! has the perfect size envelope to go with my 3 x 3 cards!
I think two laps of sewing gives a whimsical look to this card.
The stars were stamped on Window sheet with White StazOn ink- adding an extra layer.
For the night sky I stamped the Watercolor Wash background stamp on Shimmery White Cardstock with Night of Navy ink.

Hints & Things
- I most probably pushed my poor sewing machine to its limits by sewing through 3 layers - next time I would stick to 2! Also remember to keep one needle for paper sewing only and do not sew through any adhesives!
I may just squeeze in one more project for this week! I will see what time does with me! In the mean time, hop on over to the Global Design Project to have a look at all the talent around!
