Hello!

Yes I am going start sharing more and more Christmas card ideas with you! Stampin' Up!'s NEW Holiday Catalogue goes live on the 1st of September 2016 and what I love most about it , is the stamps that go with dies from the Annual Catalogue! And the builder punches! So many new products - I am certain there will be something in there for all of you! Today I'm using the lovely Merry Medley background stamp with an oldie  but goodie that was carried over to our Annual Catalogue ( the Peaceful Pines Bundle)!

What a beautiful background the Merry Medley stamp makes!

The Peaceful Pines Bundle is still a winner!

My Product List

Notes

  • Emerald Envy (one of our new In-colours for 2016-2018) work beautifully with Real Red for a traditional Christmas combination!
  • This is a simple but striking card and easy to create in bulk! I do think one can go very far with the Merry Medley background stamp and I hope to share some of my ideas with you in upcoming posts!
Another quick and easy Christmas card!

I wish the best for you during this new week!

Rose Wonder ft Touches of Texture and Tin of Cards stamp set - Sending You Love

Hello Cardmakers!

I am so excited about the project I am sharing today! With this post I will also be taking part in Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin'Up! Blog Highlight! You can vote for your favourites! The theme for this highlight is Random Act of Kindness, Encouragement, etc.

I was inspired by the lovely colour palette of the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper. So bright and beautiful! This was also last week's projects for my Stampin' with Mel class! We stamped 4 Note Cards and their Envelopes and then made a beautiful Vellum envelope to wrap them all in... tied with a beautiful bow and tag! Each card had a different greeting from the Rose Wonder stamp set, my favorite greeting from the set is "What a beautiful blessing you are to me." How many people in our lives deserve to hear this?

The Touches of Texture stamp set for splashes of colour!

Who doesn't love a butterfly? Or Gold?

All wrapped up in this!

My Product List

Notes

  • I love being inspired by Stampin'Up!'s Designer Series Paper! Their colour combo's are always perfect!
  • I used the Envelope Punch Board to create the "wrapping" for my gift pack out of Vellum!
  • One of the stamp images in the Touches of Textures set features alphabet letters, be sure to check that you will stamp it in the upright position! I do not speak from experience here! (Wink! Wink!)
Only thing left to do know is hand these to someone?!

Please hop on over to Kylie Bertucci's International Stampin' Up! Blog Highlights and vote for your favorites! The top ten will get to take part in an international blog hop! The voting process is as easy as a CLICK!

Thanks for your time!

I always appreciate your comments!

Take care!

Helping Me Grow ft Touches of Texture and Papillon Potpourri - Thank You

Hello stamping friends!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made 60 of! Yes 60! Last week Friday I was lucky to attend and display at a wonderfully informative Ladies morning tea! Each guest received one of these! This card was also the sketch inspiration for last week's Global Design Project entry #gdp049 - last week was a colour challenge.

Yes, the butterfly and sentiment both were heat embossed in Copper!! So pretty!

How lovely is does the Delicate
White Doily look peeking out from under the label?

Product List

Notes

  • Two Sneak Peeks!! Copper Foil Sheets and a tiny strip from the Petals & Paisley Speciality Designer Series Paper!! Yes the Holiday Catalogue will go live on the 1st of September 2016! If you live in  Western Australia and would like a copy, drop me a note! The digital version will be available on the 1st of September! Stay tuned!
  • I used the ready cut Note Cards! It was so much  easier to finish 60 cards in a short time than having to cut 60 card bases myself (the pack includes 20 envelopes and 20 Note Cards for $10.59 AUD).
  • The Peekaboo Peach added a nice splash of colour next to the Mint Macaron!
I hope you like it! Let me know what you think! I love reading your comments!

Take care!

Jar of Love, Touches of Texture ft Helping me Grow - Thanks

Hello!

I am so happy  to share my entry for this week's Global Design Project Challenge (#GDP049) - this week it is beautiful colour challenge! I kept my design simple, because this will also be a Make & Take at an upcoming event!

So pretty! Spring is around the corner here in Australia!

Am I ready for Spring, or what?

I think the Jar of Love Bundle is definitely on my Top Ten All Time Favourite List!

My Product List

Notes

  • I used Note Cards & Envelopes (20 each per pack for A$10.50)! Not a bad deal at all!
  • The lacy, floral background image from the Touches of Textures stamp set is really pretty!
  • I heat embossed the petals and label images with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder for exstra shine!
  • The clear sequins look like tiny dew drops on the card!
  • For the petal centers, I used Enamel Shapes (Daffodil Delight Dots from the Brights Collection).
That is number one for this week! I hope I managed to add a little "Spring" in your step with my creation! Follow me via e-mail! That way you will not miss my next creation - the card that inspired my Global Design Entry for this week!

Take care!

Guy Greetings - Happy Father's Day

Hello!

Oh. I am having soooo much fun with my business this week! Lots of stuff to play with and I will be placing my pre-order for the upcoming Holiday Catalogue today! The Holiday Catalogue will be posted online the 1st of September and then you can fire away with orders also! If you live in Australia and you prefer a hard copy, drop me an e-mail or comment with your details and I will send you one as soon as I receive my copies!
If you live in the Joondalup, Western Australia are and want to host a party, let me know!

Today I am posting my entry for the Global Design Project theme challenge (#gdp047) this week!

My card is super simple, but all the men in my life seem to prefer simple (but expensive!). I do love how it turned out though!! In Australia we celebrate Father's Day in September, so no I am not loosing it! Changing the greeting makes it a male card for any occasion!

A splatter of Calypso Coral adds a splash of colour!

The Gold embossed sentiment was attached loosely (almost like a flag) with a single staple.

My Product List

Notes

  • To get a cleaner watercolour effect, especially with the anchor image, I used the Aqua Painter to paint the ink wash onto the stamp (I used the photopolymer set). For the ink wash I pressed ink onto the Stampin' Pad lid and added water to th ink with the Aqua Painter (not too much!).
  • Stampin' Up!'s Watercolor Paper is amazing, I always end up with a beautiful result!
  • For the Calypso Coral splatter I used a wet Aqua Painter tip (with Calypso Coral ink wash on it),  I tapped  (violently, LOL!) over my finger (?) to add the fine splatter.
Quick card, maybe to quick for a challenge? I hope you enjoy!

Take care!

Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies ft. Designer Tin of Cards - Get Well

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card made using the beautiful and very versatile Thoughtful Branches Bundle. This bundle is part of a Stampin'Up! promotion for the month of August and is truly a great purchase! Remember if you purchase through my online shop and use my hostess code for August 2016 (YE77SCEH) , I will send you a mystery gift!

No choice... Get Well!

What  colour combo would you choose...?

Notes

  • I framed my Shimmery White paper with Washi tape (thank you Sara Douglass - CEO of Stampin' Up!)  before using my Aqua Painter to add colour! I love the result!
  • I definitely suggest using the Precision Base Plate for these thinlits as well as the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the intricate pieces.
  • For my tree I cut one layer from Gold Glimmer Paper and two extra layers from Whisper White Thick cardstock.

Just the card to brighten up someone's day when they feel a bit under the weather... Don't forget to share your colour combo's in the comment section!

I will be sharing some more ideas for this bundle during the week! Get yours so we can play together!

Take care!
