A Dozen thoughts (ft Flowering Fields) - you made my day

Hello!

One of my resolutions (yes I do make them!) for this year was to send out every card I create and -I have to say that  I'm not doing too bad!

This is my entry for this week's Global Design Project challenge. This week it is a CASE the Designer challenge by the wonderful Michelle Last. I loved all of it, especially the sketch and colours, so decided to use those as my inspiration.

Smack bang in the middle of our renovations (shortly after our move - OR as my son calls it THE MOVE!), I received a lovely card (store bought but still very much appreciated) from a lady that I just immediately connected with... Elizabeth was also a Breakthrough Reading volunteer at our last school and she is one of those people that always has a sparkle in her eyes!

This is my reply to her...

Thanks Elizabeth... With love

I coloured the White Glimmer Ribbon with my Lost Lagoon marker... stunning!

My Product List

Hints & Things

  • TWO of the items used on my card can be earned for FREE (with a qualifying order) through Stampin'Up!'s SALE-A-BRATION Promo! The Flowering Fields stamp set and the Metallics Glitter Tape! I coloured the White Glitter Tape (they come in a three-pack also including Gold and Silver Glitter Tape) with my Lost Lagoon Stampin' Write marker. You can have ANY colour Glitter Tape you desire this way! Fabulous I would say!
  • I coloured the Watercolor Wash backround stamp with my three colours, stamped on beautiful Whisper White Cardstock, heat embossed an image from the Flowering Fields stamps set with Basic Black Stampin' Embossing powder onto Vellum and layered it.
  • I added dimension with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
As always I hope you like it!

I wish you a beautiful day wherever you!

Take care!

Mel xx
