Watercolor Wings - Just for you

Hello again! 

This must be one of my favourite color combo's! Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral! Thanks to the Pretty Petals DSP paper stack (138442, p 144, AC) it wasn't very hard to come up with this bright (and super sassy!) combo! This is a 3" x 3" card!

Crazy About You - Happy Birthday

Can I just say that if I could ALL my cards will include Mint Macaron! I Love the color Mint, always have and always will! This was my very first one layer card, not to mention my very first monotone card! How did I do? For my accents I used some cork(!) that I bought from Riot Art, but I know Spotlight also sell some cork rolls.

Hello! 

How good it is to be back! Although I haven't been posting, I was busy as usual preparing my projects for my Thursday class (that is sadly no more...).  I had to say good bye to some wonderful ladies and will definitely miss each and everyone of them. 

The next few weeks will be all about catching up on my posts and WORKING on my blog to get that professional look that I was aiming for since the beginning.

Little Sunshine - You are my Sunshine

Hello!

After throwing a nasty box tutorial at my class the previous week (sorry ladies!!) I thought this week we will keep it clean and simple! I think it was the wrong box on the wrong day for most of us.... I also wanted to focus on some cards for the men in our lives... It was so much fun combining the Little Sunshine Stamp set (Clear, 138580, p 39 of the Occasional Catalogue - OC) and the Ray of Sunshine stamp set (Clear, 134210, p 159, Annual Catalogue - AC).  The Little Sunshine stamp set is the perfect set to welcome a newborn, but I loved the Ikat pattern and thought it would make a fantastic background for this card.

Painted Petals - for Mother's Day

Hello again!

It feels like ages passed since the Easter Holidays! 

Today's card was inspired by my mom! Being a South African by birth, living in Australia,  means my mom lives thousand's of kilometres away! Not a day goes by that I do not miss her! She loves baby colors, especially soft pink... 

I'm certain Blushing Bride (131172, p181, AC) will be her favourite pink!

Just a few notes about the card... The Darling Doily Sizzlits Die has been retired for a while now, also the Sentiment (from the Delightful Dozen stamp set). These can be replaced by whatever you have on hand.
