So another week has passed and with all its trial and error moments, I can still think back on my weekly Stampin' with Mel Cardmaking class and smile... I love spending time with fellow cardmakers!  This week's project was made to go with a gift bag for a boy...

Gift Box Punch Board - Festival of Trees Pop - Out Box!

Better late than never! I used Stampin'Up!'s  fantastic NEW Gift Box Punch Board to make this pretty box. The directions are on the board, so no need to look it up! I used the directions to make the smallest box, cut off the 4 triangles (that would be used to close the box) and made a lid from a 4" x 4" square cardstock, scored at 1"on all sides, cut the fold in tabs on all 4 corners and adhered with Sticky Strip. The inside of the box was decorated  with the Festival of Trees Photopolymer Stamp set (135059). This box is perfect for a piece of jewelry! Or a party favour!
