Hello Stampers!
As always, unless otherwise mentioned, all my products are from Stampin'Up!
It's that time of the week again! Yay! It's Friday afternoon and I get to share a project from this week's classes with you! My inspiration for this week's projects came from Jennifer McGuire(see her video on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTk_zYfFvEg).
I used the Alphabet Press embossing folder (130916 from Stampin'Up! of course!). I inked the inside of the folder very lightly with Versamark - this is the inside of the front of the folder. I placed my Whisper White card front very carefully on the inked embossing folder, closed the folder and the applied some pressure to transfer (stamp) the Versamark tthe card stock. I sprinkled some White embossing powder over the versamark ink on the card front and the heat set it. I sponged some Melon Mambo ink over the embossed card stock. And there you have it, so simple but WOW does it pack a punch! My card base is Melon Mambo. The sentiment comes from the Yippee-Skippee! stamp set and was heat embossed with the Pewter embossing powder (Hurry if you want to get some of the Pewter embossing powder it will be retiring 30 June 2014!!!).
Yet another very tiny sneak peek - the flower punch comes from a new set of punches from the much anticipated new Inspire.Create.Share catalogue for 2014/2015.
I hope you like it!

As promised my second project from this week's class! Also a very small sneaky peek from the new catalogue that will go live on the 1st of July 2014!!! This time stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge set was stamped only in Smoky Slate and then I stamped some stars in Perf ect Plum and Coastal Cabana from a new sentiment stamp set from the new cattie! I punched out some stars from Silver Glimmer paper using a retired bigger star punch BUT also a smaller star from a new punch pack available from the 1st of July. The background for the sentiment was again stamped by using the following Classic Stampin'pads Coastal Cabana, Perfect Plum and Old Olive (stamped off first). The Hip Hip Hooray sentiment comes from the stamp set included in the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit. Super fast! I would say perfect for a teenage girl's birthday?!

Hi all! I decided to share two projects from my card making class this week! I'll post one today and one tomorrow. First of all you can NEVER go wrong with the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge (130514 W /130517 C)! If something seems not quite right with your card or page, this set can almost always fix it! It certainly is one of my favourites! For my card base I used Basic Grey and for the matting Coastal Cabana. I stamped on Whisper White. I love to use Perfect Plum and Coastal Cabana together - the combination seems so fresh. I also threw in some Old Olive and Smoky Slate. The butterfly is from the lovely the Papillon Potpourri stamp set ( the butterfly punch coordinates with this set end the sentiment comes from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. The set also has a coordinating Framelits set! This is what I love about Stampin'Up! everything coordinates! I punched a small butterfly from Silver Glimmer paper and a tiny flower with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack. I hope you like it!
I hope you have a LOVELY day and manage to find the time for a bit of creativity...

THANK YOU (kind doer of good deeds)
I used Island Indigo cardstock for my card base, Naturals White for my background, Very Vanilla for my sentiment and a teeny tiny bit of Tangerine Tango and Champagne glimmer paper for my flower embellishment. I stamped the background stamp from the Postage Due set first with Soft Suede and the a small part of it with So Saffron. The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso. A while back I managed to get my hands on a bit of cork which I die cut using the smallest flower from the Floral Frames Collection. The glimmer paper flower was punched out with the Pansy punch and then I used my favorite flower punch, the Petite petal punch with one of the Petite Petals stamps for my smallest flower. Swirl some Linen thread behind the flower and all done!
Well that's that!
Remember the Stampin' Up! Retiring products. Get them before they are gone! Go to my online shop!
I will be back soon with something from this week.
Regards
Mel
