A Little Something - LOVE PEACE JOY

Hello!

I am super excited! Tomorrow I will be attending Stampin' Up!'s very first On Stage event for demonstrators! As always I have created cards to take along and swap out with the other demonstrators! Today I share one of my ideas with you!

Super simple!

Black, White and Gold (and Kraft!) makes for a super elegant Christmas card...

Hints & Things

• I Swiped my Whisper White Craft ink pad over my card base for a "snowy" background and then stamped my tiny snowflakes using the same ink on top of that.
• When you stamp on top of the Window sheet with the StazOn ink, be careful it can be quite slippery! So straight down and straight up with your stamp!
• I used Glue Dots to secure my sequins - no way they will be coming off in the post!
• My card measures 3 1/2"  x 3 1/2" (9cm x 9cm) but this is just an idea - you can make it bigger, smaller, thinner, any way you would like it! 

Next week (if all goes well) I am going to play around with the fun Snow Place stamp set and its coordinating dies!

A Little Something - Trick or Treat Mini Treat Bag

Hello!

As promised a Halloween Treat bag today! I simply adore all the Halloween products in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalogue! The A Little Something stamp set (that coordinates with the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies) works wonderfully with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits also!

I have to say I couldn't find anything Halloween-like in the shops yet, Footy Fever is still running high here in Australia. Purple Fizzers had to do!

Hints & Things

• If you are not a fan of Halloween this will be a good idea for a Thank you, Christmas or Birthday card. Exchange the Spider Web doily with a pretty white Tealace Paper Doily (129399 in the Annual Catalogue and play around with the Designer Series Paper. The Treat Bag will work very well for a gift card holder!
• I normally double up my Thread, Trim or Bakers Twine for a more substantial look.
• On hind sight, three gold sequins would have been enough! LOL!

Well there you have it! From next week I will start with my Christmas projects!

A Little Something - Love Peace Joy Christmas card

Hello again!

I decided to keep it very traditional this week as far as Christmas Colours go! Nothing says Christmas like good old Green and Red - Stampin'Up! has quite a selection of both colours! Which ones are your favorites? My inspiration was once again the MojoMonday sketch... For some reason I cannot stay away from Stampin'Up!'s amazing range of Designer Vellum...

Don't forget the beautiful background stamps from The Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set - I used the beautiful snowflake stamp from the set.

I heat embossed one of the wooden snowflakes (Snowflake Elements) with Gold embossing powder to add some more bling!
